Do not postpone to be a mother
Regardless of your age and position, please consult
to a medical specialist when you would like to get
pregnant or if you are already pregnant.
The medical examination and control are required for
once a month until 32th week, once in 15 days until
32-36th weeks, and in the frequency that your doctor
thinks appropriate. You should not neglect to visit
your doctor for your health and for the health of your
baby, it should not be forgotten that the health of the
baby starts in gestation.
Almost every woman experience certain psychological
changes and feelings in the first 3 months of the
pregnancy. One can burst into weeping crisis when
she is very joyful. Some days she can be very nervous
and some days she can be very relaxed and
calm. When the constitution gets to accommodate
with the pregnancy, these problems diminish gradually.
Your body structure starts to change with the pregnancy.
Various disturbances can be experienced in
different times each month. The most complained
disturbances are back pain, heartburn, indigestion,
nausea, constipation, haemorrhoid, swollen parts,
and cramps in legs, vertigo and sleeping disorders.
Remedies of these complaints should be inquired
and no need to be worried.
If the disturbances or the problems increase in the
course of time and if they cause more severe pains,
another problem can be considered and should be
consulted to a doctor before it turns into a serious
condition.
One of the ways that overcome the back pains
which every woman complain at any rate and which
is amongst the most important disturbances is exercising.
The back muscles are being operated and it
will be easier to carry the exponential weight in the
stomach region by the help of exercising. Sitting
up and reinforcing back by leaning on, not carrying
heavy weights and balancing the weight to be lifted
and lifting weights from the ground by bending down
should be practiced. Standing up for long periods
or sitting in the same formation for long periods and
sleeping on a soft bed also can lead to back pains.
In case of vertigo and dizziness which are emerged
due to decrease of the blood pressure when standing
up impetuously from where you are seated, sitting
immediately and waiting for the disturbance to go
by for a few seconds should be performed to prevent
falls and bumps. Vertigo can be felt when the
blood sugar (glycaemia) is low. The reason for this is
famishing for a period of time. You may overcome
this problem by eating frequently and light food and
by taking protein weighted alimentation to protect
the level of blood sugar. Being in very hot shopping
malls, being in crowded locations and overdressing
can also cause vertigo.
The things to be done to overcome sleeping disorders;
sleeping in well ventilated room with appropriate
room temperature, taking naps for the purpose
of relaxing instead of long sleeps in day time, exercising
sufficiently in day time and eating food such as
cookies and drink milk instead of eating heavy food
and drinking coffee. For a well sleep, you may need
to change your sleeping position. Sleeping on your
left side and crossing one of your legs onto the other
by putting a pillow in between will be a nice sleeping
position unwinding for you and for your baby.
The heartburn and indigestion problems can be overcome
with frequent but little by little eating. Besides,
fried food, food containing yeast, hot and greasy
food can cause heartburn. Eating food with small bits
and chewing well chewing, eating in a comfortable
environment instead of stressful environments can
be helpful for heartburns and indigestion problem.
